My interest in strength training began at the age of eleven when I bought my first set of weights. In my teens I competed as a junior lifter and won several local lifting competitions at a body weight of around 10 stones (63.5kg) and later as a senior at around 11 stones (69.9kg).
During my career I have worked with a wide range of clientele. Apart from marketing and instructing my own circuit training classes, I have worked in cardiac rehabilitation for more than 18 years prescribing exercise for cardiac patients, along with GP referrals ranging from stroke patients, cancer patients, over-weight individuals, mental health, fibromyalgia amongst many other conditions and illnesses.
Because I believe that being stronger will contribute to longevity I decided to invest in my own private facility using over 35 years of experience to help others become stronger for life.
